Silicone Beauty Blender SAY WHAAA?!

Silicone Beauty Blender
Overall Score:7/10

This week I tired out the silicone beauty blender that I ordered for like one dollar on wish. Side Note: It has been a crazy couple of weeks and I haven't been able to post at all... but I have a lot of new products I am excited to try out so stay tuned!

Anyway, back to the silicone goodness.

So I went a little crazy on wish and bought a whole bunch of products that I have seen on Facebook and Youtube that I have always wanted to try. One of those being this wonderfully beautiful water droplet looking foundation applicator that I am going to call a silicone beauty blender so that I sound professional as heck.

I could NOT wait to try it and I had it sitting in my room for like 2 weeks before I actually busted it open because I kinda forgot about it ("wannabe" blogger of the year over here 😐). Let me tell you guys I had really low hopes for this product because most of the things I have ordered on wish so far have not worked at all, but long story short I was kind of impressed! I recorded a really awkward video that I will post below to give a better idea of how the application process went.

After the application.
Now, don't get me wrong it definitely did not work as well as a normal sponge beauty blender or foundation brush but I was still pleasantly surprised. Honestly, I would maybe use it again or lend it to one of my friends to give it a try and see what they think.

In order to lay everything out of the table I will name all of the pros and cons of this product: Pros-SUPA easy to clean, fun to play with, applied the makeup decently well, feels nice on the skin, doesn't absorb any foundation. Cons-doesn't really blend into the skin, leaves a lot of orange foundation streaks, had to re-dip it into the foundation more often than with a normal applicator, went on a tad more cakey. Overall I would say that the pros outweigh the cons and I am happy that I bought this product, however, if you are on a budget and already have a foundation brush or beauty blender you like, don't waste ya money. If I were to use this product again I would probably take it on vacation with me, because it is so easy to clean and wouldn't make a mess of my makeup bag.

Overall I would give this product a 7/10. It performed pretty well, and I enjoyed using it but it's not not a necessity if you already have a practical foundation applicator!
